El Camino/Swim Torrance Meet Results:

Overall SOBA had 12 best times and 11 new long events.

Highlights of the meet:
Vincent set a new team record in the 7-8yo boys 100 breaststroke-sorry Kyle!

“Swim warrior”-Vincent doing 100 free and was 5^th10 and under in the 200 free!

Danny was first overall in the 50 fly.

Ina and Allie got 3^rdand 4^thamong 8 and unders in 100 free and 2^ndand 6^thin fly.

Collin got 2^ndin back, 4^thin fly and 6^thin 100 Free among 8 and unders.

Ina and Collin did legal backstroke flipturns in their first 50 backstroke.

Tony gets my “Ripped-off award” for an unjust backstoke DQ.
(they DQ’d 4/5 experienced/fast 13-14 boy’s and 2/5 15+ girls 200 back!).

Kaitlyn had a tough day but scored 40 points second only to Danny’s 49.

Lucas had nice flipturns and dropped 4 seconds in his 100 free.

I have special awards for Tony and Vincent in addition to ribbons (only 1-6)-I am going to try to make up some ribbons for our 8 and under as they had to compete 10 and under.
